"If no one knows it's your birthday, then just shut up, Jack."

I wanna plan something for me and my friends on my birthday on the 21st, but how would I go about doing that and saying something indirectly? I wanna go out into town for lunch or something like that. I don't know. For once, I'd like to have a birthday with my friends instead of just family.

Personally I don't think you should have to say it indirectly. Just tell them that you'd like to be with them on your birthday for a lunch/dinner, whatever. There's nothing wrong with wanting your friends company on your birthday and if they're really your friends they'll understand. It's not like your telling them to buy you stuff or anything like that. :)
